Today we had Katie (left) and Shannon(right) out for a rip on the sit skis from Vancouver Island Society for Adaptive Snow Sports.

We want want to bring special attention to Shannon Drought, an amazing caregiver to Katie, on this International Women’s Day.

Shannon has been bringing Katie up the mountain to ski for more years than we can count. This was the first day she was able to ski with her amazing friend!

We had so much fun. It is people like Katie and Shannon that make our volunteering so worth while.
