Cross country skiing is great exercise for people of all ages

COVID-19 NOTICE

We are working closely with CADS/BCAS, Mount Washington Alpine Resort and governing bodies to develop protocols and procedures for operating under COVID-19 Pandemic conditions. Student Registration will open after approved procedures are in place.  Anticipated timeline – Nov. 15, 2020.

Daily Nordic Lessons are offered – Tuesday through Saturday, maximum of 3 lesson request at any one time;
Wood Gundy – Nordic Lessons are offered – Tuesday thru Thursday, a maximum of 3 lesson request at any one time;

Did You Know?

  • Nordic sit skiing can be a great way for those with limited use of their legs or balance to get out and enjoy nature.
  • Nordic, cross country skiing is well suited to those with visual impairment as the track helps guide the skier, while the instructor gives verbal instructions as required.
  • For competitive athletes, Nordic skiing can be a main sport or cross training for another sport.
  • Games are fun and also help develop skiing skills.
